A PROBLEM we must all think seriously about....

Next time you stop somewhere to get something to drink, think about what I am about to show you. These pictures were taken by an amazing artist named Chris Jordan. They show us the problem we have in our country with consumption (buying things).... The following pictures show us something pretty scary... It's crazy to imagine, but the first one is a photograph of 2 MILLION PLASTIC BOTTLES. This is the number of bottles used in the U.S. EVERY-FIVE-MINUTES!!!

Did you know that 70% of these bottles don't even get recycled, and fill up our land fills instead? What can we do about this? Tia and I try and help by using Nalgene and Sigg Water bottles, that we can use over and over again. What will you do?

btw.... Did you know that plastic bottles can be made into YARN, and then sewn into carpet and clothing items such as polarfleece? Recycle your bottles!
